Fire and Security

Having acquired our Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board (SSAIB) and British Approvals For Fire Equipment (BAFE) qualifications, South West Electrics can legally supply security and fire prevention equipment to our clients, installing and maintaining its presence in both residential and commercial builds.

These accreditations allow our specialist fire and security engineers to install and test both traditional and aspirating fire alarm systems, evaluating which would be most effective on your site before placing them in key areas. This is also true for gas and various other monitoring apparatus; we recommend opening a discussion with one of our engineers about your needs in order for them to identify and supply the equipment that will best ensure the safety of your site.

Additionally, our engineers are qualified to fit various security measures in an insurance policy compliant way. These include CCTV systems and other video-based measures, as well as access control, intruder alarms and door entry precautions. By coupling these with our other services, we can provide a full package electrical service, which are installed in harmony with our safety features in a hassle-free setup.
